About the farm
Run by Adam Overton and Rachel Samuel, the farm is located in West Omo near the legendary Gori Gesha Forest, the birthplace of the Gesha variety. The beans come from the Oma Block, named after a highly respected spiritual leader.
About the variety
The Gesha 1931 variety marks the historical origin of today's Gesha coffees: it was collected and classified in this region by an Ethiopian expedition in 1931 – long before Gesha coffees became known through Panama.
