About the farm
The beans come from Finca El Porvenir, an independent coffee farm acquired by Camilo Segura. The finca is located in the cloud forest belt of the Andes at about 1,800 meters above sea level in the Palestina region of Huila. The volcanic-enriched black soil and significant temperature differences create ideal conditions for the coffee cherries to ripen slowly. El Porvenir practices 100% shade-grown agroecology. It also composts coffee pulp and uses a closed-loop water system, achieving climate neutrality.

About the variety
The Gesha varieties used have been cultivated for over a decade and are grown using single-plant micro-lot techniques. This approach allows for a combination of Gesha's typical floral notes and citrus freshness with the tropical fruit sweetness of Colombia.
