The second year of September together with Mullugeta Muntasha. This time together with his son Dege, who manages most of the cultivation. This naturally processed Jarc 74158 impresses with its intense juiciness and sweetness. Carried by purple fruit notes such as grapes and a fresh, citrusy acidity.

About the producer
In 2021, Mullugeta returned to Bursa and built his own drying station, Dawencho. There, he secured second place for the Dawencho Farmer Group in the Cup of Excellence and sixth place under his own name.

In 2022, he dominated with four lots in the top 10, including the overall winner Legesse Botola (his brother-in-law), who processed at Mullugeta's neighboring washing station.

About the variety
The Jimma Agricultural Research Centre (JARC), one of Ethiopia's state research centres, released 74158 in 1979. This variety originates from the Metu Bishari selections, which were obtained from mother plants in the Metu Woreda of the Illuababora zone.

The 74158 variety was selected and further propagated due to its high yield potential and resistance to coffee berry disease.
